Я студент (F1- виза) с Украины - есть немного свободных денег, хочу вкладывать в акции, - кто-нибудь знает как этот доход\расход отразиться на моих налогах? сколько я должен буду платить и с какой суммы?

Прочитай внимательно инструкции к формам 1040 и schedules. Там все подробно и ясно написано.

A это все зависит от сумы. Eсли вы студент то я полагаю что вы нерасполагаете довольнотоки значительным капиталом достаточным для налогооблажения.

У меня счет в одной из американских брокерских фирм и за прошлый год я вырастил мой начальный капитал почти на 370% но никаких налогов сменя пока ни берут за исключением небольшой сумы с каждом закрытой зделки плюс комисионые за покупку/продажи акции.

Я звонил своему брокеру с вопросом о нaлогах он мне сказал что я должен сам оформлять рипорт о моем годовом доходе и сообщать об этом в IRS для того что бы получить свой tax return at the end of the year. вот в прошлом апреле подал мой первый рипорт и получил неплохой return.

а как вы планируете разбогатеть на акциях? у вас стратегия отработана? опыт есть ?

как разбогатеть? Day trading... рока 370% нет - я только учусь - но я думаю дело пойдет...

насчет IRS - вы откуда? и на каких правах с США? я еще не совсем могу понять является ли trade my own account - effectively connected with usa trade or business ? Я из Украины так я в трити нашел что (насколько я понял) что все что я тут "наторгую" - tax free - но опять же, не уверен насколько я правильно все там понял

Правильно делаете что учитесь, значит голова у вас прешита к правильному месту! в дальнейшем пострайтесь разработать вашу стратегию на которой будет базироваться ваш регулярный доход. на разработку моей стратегии ушло почти 4 года и я рад что благодоря ей я закрыл прошлый год с хорошей прибылью. :)

Я живу в Лос Aнделесе на легальных правах. на счет вашего налогаоблажения в украине я не совсем в курсе но у меня сщет есть в www.nettrader.ru открыл я его из америке пару месяцев назад , но российскими акциями пока торговать не начал может в следущем году займусь серьезно российским рынком и о налогах я пока не уточнял.

мне тоже очень интересно, какие это инвестиции что приносят такие бешеные %% и еше не облАГАЕМЫЕ НАЛОГАМИ

ну это не факт что все что очень хорошо по вашей поговорке сразу должно быть не правдой. Вы лучше посмотрите http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p901.pdf стр. 34 строку для Украины и столбец Capital Gain (9) и стр. 35 для объяснения "g". А скажите как вы это понимаете?

Свои стратегии.... 370%... Помню, жил-был чувачок один... Гонял свой фургончик с двойным дном то ли из Флориды в Неваду, толи еще куды... Порошок возил, цвета белого... Лет 10 назад вроде видели его в "совке" с прострелянными коленями... Может до сих пор где-нить небо коптит...хотя вряд ли... Извините, что не в кассу, 370% навеяли....

Oil stocks to buy: ATPG, SNG,IVAN, FDEI. look for entry points in this stocks . (good profit) and stay away from TECH-stocks for another week or so.

вы имеете виду мою последнию сделку? на прошлой нидели взял прибыль в размере 48% от продажи IIJI. сегодня смотрю на нефтенные акции в частности внимание привлекает ATPG. жду подходящего момента для покупки.

DCEL - The stock is showing weakness in trending, if you're holding this stock you probably should sell it now and get back in later.

Well, first of all I'm not a portfolio investor , if you'd take a look at my recent positions you will probably get an idea what type of trading i follow. it's also know as "Trend Spotting" it's not an easy strategy to follow but it's a lot safer one, because you always have plenty of time to spot future breakdowns and exit your long avoiding losses.

As of today, i issued my short-term SELL recommendation on Dobson Communications- (DCEL) but it doesn't mean SELL for a long-term ,so if you're one of the long-term shareholders of Dobson Communications. than i think you shouldn't take my recommendation actively.

Back to your post,

I've read it carefully and found out that investing strategy that that person offers is not in the area of my interest ,therefore, i won't be able to comment on that but i would like to give you my opinion on a particular stock that you may be looking to buy.

P.S. if somebody asks for money in advance that usually ends up badly. if you think you could trust that guy why not e-mail him and ask for a few stock picks and then see how good or bad he really is don't belive in any refunds especially on wall street. :)

DCEL-The stock set its new one-week low at 1.74. the sign of on growing volatility.

IVAN-The stock is showing good strength gathering, if you bought this stock at the moment its been recommended than hold on to it!!! If you still haven't bought it yet ,then today is a perfect time to do so!!!

SNG-possition CLOSED at 2.21

DCEL- Good performance but still not there yet and here's why: the stock had a mini crash in the earlier hours of today's session setting its weekly low at 1.74 and failing to break above its first resistance level at 1.87.

Nevertheless, the stock got occupied by the bulls towards the end of the session and it did start to show some strength but still wasn't enough to break the first resistance level mentioned above. Even if it opens higher tomorrow and breaks out above 1.87, there is another HUGE resistance area at 1.94. and that's gonna be a real challenge which will ultimately decide the stock's short-term direction. I will BUY this stock as soon as 1.94 is broken!
