I have a question about renewing international passport of Russian ciitizen. My I-751 case has not yet been reviewed so it is going to be awhile before I receive my new green card. Meanwhile the one that I had expired 9/2003. Since then I visited my local BCIS center and had a stamp placed validating my status through 7/2004. Meanwhile, my Russian/International Passport expires 11/2004. In order for me to travel I prefer to wait when my green card is in my hands and there are no pended cases in my name. By the time I will get it my passport probably is going to be less than 6 months left before expiration date which make is difficult to travel. How is it possible to renew the passport. Can I do it when I get to Russia after I get a card? Or now? I need to keep the passport for now as it contains all my vital information and stamps, I cannot give it away. Please advise. Appreciate your time.
