Zdravstvuite!
I've read the article about immigration through labor/work in "KURIER," from November 29, 2002, and saw your offer of free help . Thank you for this!
I have a question regarding the Green Card. I am from Moldova.
I've worked in the USA for three years. I want to apply for the Green Card for my wife, two daughters, and me. I'm 53 years old, my wife is 48, and my daughters are 16 and 19. I am on H1 visa, as estimator. My wife and daughters are on H4 visa. Do you think it is possible to apply and successfully get the Green Card with the position of an estimator? Actually, I have a Ph.D. in electrical engeneering gained from former Soviet Union, but I'm working in the US as an estimator in an electrical construction company.
I'd like to ask if in the Green Card application it's possible to skip the first part of it - "Labor Certification." So the process would start on its second step among the three steps of application for the Green Card. How to do that and is it possible?
Thank you for your help and time.
S uvajeniem,

Response for: Gheorghe Bejenari at 1/5/2004 7:47:00 PM If you are working at the same company ( who have been your Petitioner for H-1B), they should also apply for your (and your family members) greencard. Why should you apply for Labor certification? Go to your company's lawyer, fill out the applications, and send them to US INS. That's it.
