Hey guys,
Please help, my father (76 years old) is having a political asylum interview on Tuesday. Any advice? He is very nervous! Thanx.

Any advice о чем? Вы сообщили какую-нибуть информацию: из какой он страны, по какому основанию просит убежище, кто готовил документы, кто идет переводчиком, какой у Вас у самой статус (тоже зависит, потому что на интервью обязательно спросят), и т.д.
А почему тянули с вопросом до последнего. Нужно было даже прямо позвонить мне, втолковал бы, что и как. А теперь, где время-то? А, кстати, где интервью-то будет (в каком городе), а то я, как раз, во вторник и в среду буду в Чикаго, но вряд ли теперь что-то можно успеть.

Thanks for your quick response. The reason for polit. asulym is political opinion.
I am a green card holder. He is percecuted because they know that my son is in the U. S. Navy and was in ... there. I am scared of confused questions. I prepared his case, we have at least 20 very good articles that i included with his application.
Where I can find you? Can I call you? We are leaving now. We are staying at Howard Johnson at La Salle street just by the office. Please respond and i will call my husband that he would check your message. Thanx so much.

Unfortunately, I will be in Chicago only on November 4th evening. If you are not sure, probable you want to reschedule his interview. They will assign him another one in three weeks.

Hello Lev,
We couldn't reschedule. So, we are done. It went very, very smooth. The officer was very polite and very, very kind. This makes its scary! It was very or too much "sweet". I wouldn't be surprise if the answer will be -NO. So I am ready to go futher. Thanks. Lana
