здравствуйте андрей.
мой вопрос, вероятно, обратный тем, что вы получаете ежедневно.
мы приехали с мужем в америку по статусу беженца. но не потому что хотели, а потому что его родители и он получили этот статус, еще до того как мы поженились и до того как ввели дедлайн на въезд. поехали потому что боялись что он не сможет видеть родителей.
но жить в америке мы не можем по множеству причин.
теперь мы в процессе получения грин-карты. (подали в октябре)
но похоже что когда мы ее получим жизнь еще более затруднится.
вопрос:
сколько месяцев в год можно отсутствовать имея гринкарту?
главный вопрос:
если добровольно отказаться от ГК есть шанс получать туристическую визу - навещать родителей или мы попадаем в черный список? как это сделать?
как вообще обращаться с такой ситуацией?

Get your Green Card first. Then you can depart and leave anywhere you want for as long as you want and come back any time for any reason for any length of time on your Green Card. If you live abroad you do not lose you status of the resident (green card), you just will not accumalate the required number of months per year towards American Citizenship. Get you Green card and enjoy your life without becoming American Citizens.

To reenter the US a Permanent Resident normally needs to present the green card (Permanent Resident Card, Form I-551) for readmission. A reentry permit is needed for reentry for trips greater than one year but less than two years in duration.
