Hello Andrei,
I was wondering, when the gov't makes an indictment against a person A and mentions a co-defendant in the indictment. Does the gov't have to prove the existence of this co-defendant? Especially if the larger part of the crime commited was done by this co-defendant, but the person A is getting blamed for it as part of a conspiracy!
Also, is the gov't allowed to base most of the indictment and it's case on assumptions? Can they actually speculate the entire matter without solid evidence?
