Hi,
Can you recommend a candidate for this position? We need someone right now.
Position Description:
The IAS individual must be competent with Linux/Unix application, system design and development. We are specifically looking for an individual who has a breadth of skills including SW packaging (with an emphasis RPMs on Linux), system programming including threads and server design, scripting as well as a strong background in implementing and managing complex storage and networking systems. The role calls for someone who has strong system SW development skills but also thinks like a system administrator.
Qualifications:
- Linux/Unix expertise
- Systems background.
- Competency with Perl/Shell programming is desired
- A background in developing enterprise storage applications is a plus.
Education:
Bachelors in CS/CE; Masters Preferred
