Visiting Harvard U |
Lyuba Omaha |
Hello everybody. I have a little problem, may be somebody can help. My daughter was accepted to Harvard and is flying in for "Harvard Days" on the weekend of 4/24. Unfortunately Harvard is not very user-friendly as to arranging a shuttle for 2000+ visiting families, and I am a little worried how she gets to Cambridge from the airport. I am not sure if it is a good idea for a single young girl to hire a cab, but please tell me if it is OK in Boston?
Anyway - if anybody of her age (17-19) wants to make a new friend and meet her at the Logan airport on Saturday morning 4/24 about 11am, and help to get around the city by subway - this would be great! My name is Lyuba and her name is Olga. Please - write to me if you are interested and I will give her e-mail. LBarrington@cox.net. Thank you!
(Sorry for English - do not have russ stickers on my keyboard. We speak Russian at home!)

Response for: Lyuba at 4/9/2004 6:46:00 PM It's absolutelly fine to take a taxi in Boston Area. Also, she may take a free shuttle bus to Subway station nearby and use Subway to get to Harvard. Do you really think she needs to be on compus prior to checking in the hotel she will stay overnight?

Response for: Lyuba at 4/9/2004 6:46:00 PM Люба, такси стоит около 35-40 долларов и идет 40 минут от аеропорта. Никакиx проблем с этим не должно быть. Удачи.
