Спасибо за ответ. Мой муж настаивает, что кольца его, и при отъезде домой я должна их оставить ему. Значит он не прав. Подарки - это подарки.

When an engagement ring is given to a woman on any day, BUT a holiday (e.g. Birthday, New Year's Eve, Christmas etc.), it is considered to be a PROOF of the CONTRACT ( in your case your husband's proposal to get married and your acceptance of his proposal is a CONTRACT ). When the contract becomes null and void (because either party decides to terminate it), the engagement ring goes back to the husband. However, if an engagement ring is given to a woman on a holiday ( let's say, your husband proposed to you on your birthday, New year's Eve, Valentine's, etc.), it becomes a PRESENT, and in case of divorce, it's yours to keep.
